Project Description
This project is inspired by the amazing Youtube video series MinutePhysics, created by Henry Reich. We were assigned partners and chose our topics, My partner, Hanna and I chose do study the physics behind superpowers.
Process
Coming into the project, my partner and I had no idea what to do. We had liked the idea of the multiverse theory, but another group had taken the idea first so we were at a loss. We wanted to cover a topic that was new, engaging, and interesting for our audience; talking about the reality of superpowers sounded perfect. We began research and discovered that most super powers were already covered, so we included a different power that has never been done before. It was decided that I was to draw and my partner was going to narrate. To split the work evenly I would also edit the video while she edited the audio. After she wrote a basic script I brushed over it and fixed mathematical errors and added some humor.
We recorded and edited the audio first and then went on to drawing. Thinking back on that , it wasn't our brightest idea because when we were done with the drawing it wasn't timed correctly. My partner took the pictures using SAM Animation but I edited the entire thing using Final Cut Pro. The editing took a little longer than I would have liked because like I said before, nothing was timed. We even had to go back and shoot some extra scenes. |

Reflection
All in all, this project went well. There were points where my partner wasn't motivated but I had to push her and she didn't really like me for that. also, as said before, we probably should have recorded second instead that way we could have timed it more smoothly.
